THE SID ROMÁN LAW 2020 AMERICAN DREAM ESOL SCHOLARSHIP

We are pleased to announce the winners of our 2020 American Dream scholarship. The goal of this scholarship is to provide college-bound, Orlando area English As a Second Language (ESOL) High School students the technology tools necessary to attend and succeed in college.

The selection process was difficult as we received applications from students from many Orange County high schools. After careful evaluation and video interviews with the finalists, we could not be prouder and more excited to announce the winners of our 2020 scholarship.

Sid Roman Scholarship 2020 Andrea Mendoza UCF

Three (3) laptops valued at up to $1,000 were awarded to Boone High School ESOL students Andrea Mendoza, Dadianis Portal Sierra, and Ismar Ramirez Mora (pictured, left to right). These outstanding students met the scholarship's eligibility requirements and were selected based on their academic achievement, personal essay, recommendation letters, and financial need.

A year after identifying a significant need among this community and establishing this scholarship, we are certain that there can be no better investment than in the future of deserving young people who have the drive and work ethic to pursue their dream of attending college in their new country, but may not have the financial means to realize it.

Congratulations again to Andrea, Dadianis and Ismar! We are happy to help you realize your American Dream!
